Message From Center Director

To the entire MMHC Community:

Welcome to our new website. MMHC continues to be a vibrant, creative and committed community. As you know, we have been working on our temporary move to the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital. The Metro Area Office has been working tirelessly to make sure that our location is comfortable for clients and staff and that our services continue without interruption.

There are negotiations with various companies regarding shuttle services from MMHC to the Shattuck. We also have volunteers scouting out routes on public transportation, and some have offered their services to help us get accustomed to the route. I will be contacting all of our clients by mail once everything is finalized. For those clients who find the trip too difficult, don’t worry – we will come to you.

The RFP for our new building should be coming out soon. We hope to get many responses and I feel confident we will find a compatible partner.

We continue to weather these difficult times with the same “can do” spirit that has infected MMHC since our inception. We will continue to provide innovative programs with evidence-based practices as they evolve – many with their beginning right here.
