The Community Services Department oversees our many contracted rehabilitation programs as well as our DMH clients who are not served by our on-site outpatient clinic. It is comprised of the following departments and center-wide functions:
Case Management
A multi-cultural and multi-lingual team of two supervisors and six case managers who assist approximately 250 clients to live independently by coordinating and overseeing their psychiatric and community support services.

Residential Services
Rehabilitative Residential Programs
Provides a network of over 250 beds in staffed residential programs and over 150 supported housing beds in apartments and single room occupancy units. This network provides a wide range of options for people with psychiatric disabilities.
Housing Search Assistance
Assists clients in all areas connected with the apartment search process.
Parker West Transitional Residential Shelter
Housing and support services for twenty homeless women waiting permanent placements.

Vocational and Educational Programs
Provides a full range of supports and individualized services focused on allowing clients to choose, obtain and retain employment, education and training opportunities. Utilizes generic, community based programs and resources and tailors supports to achieve success.

Rehabilitation Services
Adult Community Rehabilitative Support (CRS)
Since 1998, provides support and rehabilitation services to adults in their homes and in the community setting to increase skill level, independence and community integration.

Young Adult Community Rehabilitative Support (CRS)
Since 2002, offers specialized services for young adults 18-25 with an emphasis on obtaining educational goals, maintaining psychiatric stability, upgrading independent living skills and fostering positive social experiences.

Day Rehabilitation
Provides rehabilitation to adults in a structured setting with an emphasis on recovery, enhancing socialization and communication, and building pre vocational skills.

Gateway Fine Arts Program
Studio space and support services for artists who benefit from rehabilitation to enhance their talent and develop productive work plans, with the ultimate goal of competitive employment in their chosen medium.

Clubhouse Services
Consumer driven, psychosocial day service based on the Fountain House model of a work ordered day where individuals participate in various units and take responsibility for day to day operations
