Fenwood Inn

• Forty-bed transitional residence for men and women with severe

  and persistent mental illness who are DMH eligible and live in the

  Metro Boston Area.

• Works in collaboration with the Partial Hospital Program

  to provide a 24-hour, acute, step-down and diversion service for clients

  who require this intensity of treatment.

• All residents of the Fenwood Inn are referred to community housing

  and are discharged when appropriate housing is available.

• Staff includes nurses, mental health workers, a social worker and

  an occupational therapist who work within their expertise to provide

  rehabilitation services.

• Provides rehabilitation services to assess and assist with medication

  compliance, sobriety support, personal hygiene, room care, and other

  skills needed for successful community living.
