The mission of the Continuing Education Program at
Massachusetts Mental Health Center is to educate mental health practitioners
and other physicians beyond their formal training. Our major goal
is to provide expertise and information in the field of mental health
to all practitioners and enable them to keep abreast of new developments
in research, practice, and theory.
As a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School,
the Massachusetts Mental Health Center sponsors most of its Continuing
Education activities through the department of continuing education,

Winter Seminars:
Longboat Key, Florida – February 25- March 15, 2002
Taught by distinguished faculty, the Winter Seminars allow participants
an opportunity to combine learning and relaxation at beautiful beach
resorts on the coast of Florida. The area’s tropical climate and
refined lifestyle attract visitors from all over the world, supporting
a wealth of activities including championship golf, shopping, sport
fishing, and Everglades excursions.
Summer Seminars:
June 17-21, 2002 Bermuda; July 2-12, 2002, Brewster, Cape Cod, MA;
July 29- August 16, 2002, North Falmouth, Cape Cod, MA
August 19-23, 2002, Austen Riggs center, Stockbridge, MA Berkshires
The Summer Seminars are a series of courses of current
interest to the health professional. Taught by a distinguished faculty,
the courses allow participants an opportunity to combine learning
and relaxation at a spectacular beachfront resort on the tropical
island of Bermuda; a magnificent oceanfront conference and golf
center in Brewster, Cape Cod; an oceanfront resort on Old Silver
Beach, one of Cape Cod’s most beautiful beaches
